You can become a member of the SAT e.V. association by attending and registring at the yearly general assembly during the SAT conference or by applying to the board of the association. See also the bylaws of the association.
For members of the SAT e.V. association the following terms of service apply.
When becoming a member, the association records your the name, the email address and affiliation. This information is stored in a computer system of the association. The personal data will be protected against disclosure to third parties by appropriate technical and organizational measures. Other information and information about non-members are at most processed internally by the association, and only if they are related to promoting the association's purpose and only if no evidence exists that the person has a genuine interest which precludes the processing.
Membership directories will be managed by members of the association board or by those members who have an assigned function within the association that requires knowledge of membership data. In case a member requests membership data on the grounds that she or he requires the data for performing her or his duties in accordance with the association's constitution, the board will only turn over the data after the requesting person gives a written guarantee that she or he will not use the data for other purposes.
Once a person's membership terminates, her or his name, affiliation and email address will be deleted from the membership records. Her or his personal data that is relevant for the association's financial management will be kept for up to ten years according to applicable tax regulations, from the date the membership termination is confirmed by the Executive Board.
Mit dem Beitritt eines Mitglieds nimmt der Verein dessen Namen, die EMail-Adresse sowie die institutionelle Zugehörigkeit (Affilation) auf. Diese Informationen werden in einem EDV-System gespeichert. Die personenbezogenen Daten werden dabei durch geeignete technische und organisatorische Maßnahmen vor der Kenntnisnahme Dritter geschützt. Sonstige Informationen und Informationen über Nichtmitglieder werden von dem Verein, wenn überhaupt, nur intern verarbeitet, und nur sofern sie in Bezug auf den Vereinszweck nützlich sind und nur sofern keine Anhaltspunkte bestehen, dass die betroffene Person ein schutzwürdiges Interesse hat, dass der Verarbeitung entgegensteht.
Mitgliederverzeichnisse werden von Vorstandsmitgliedern verwaltet, oder von sonstigen Mitgliedern, die im Verein eine betreffende Funktion ausüben, welche die Kenntnis der Mitgliederdaten erfordert. Macht ein Mitglied geltend, dass er die Mitgliederliste zur Wahrnehmung seiner satzungsmäßigen Rechte benötigt, händigt der Vorstand die Liste nur gegen eine schriftliche Versicherung aus, dass die Adressen nicht zu anderen Zwecken verwendet werden.
Beim Austritt werden Name, Email-Adresse und institutionelle Zugehörigkeit (Affilation) des Mitglieds aus der Mitgliederliste gelöscht. Personenbezogene Daten des austretenden Mitglieds, die Kassenverwaltung betreffen, werden gemäß der steuergesetzlichen Bestimmungen bis zu zehn Jahre ab der schriftlichen Bestätigung des Austritts durch den Vorstand aufbewahrt.
